One A Week

I said I was going to blog more in 2017 and I've taken a week off haha! I have a good excuse though. My best friend Courtney was here to visit and ended up coming down with the stomach flu. So, we basically stayed in our pjs, on the couch, all weekend. It was perfect. She was feeling better by Monday so we had our weekly girl's Bachelor date before she left Tuesday. I miss her!

Since it's Thursday and today's post is all over the place I'm linking with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud. Random thoughts here we go....

1. I finished Gilmore Girls. Court being sick allowed us lots of tv time. She was a good sport and was okay with us just binge watching the series. I started it back in November and fell in love with it quickly. It's the first time I've watched a series like that and it was really nice to not have to wait a week for the next episode. As for the new season "A Year In The Life" I loved it! I didn't want it to end and then, when it did, I was left with so many questions. I hope they do another season!!!

2. I'm starting a new series now.
I am about to start watching This Is Us. I've heard so many amazing things and this time I don't want to wait seven seasons to start watching. Also, I have a big crush Milo Ventimiglia.

3. I got the results of my echocardiogram back!
So, it turns out I have an enlarged heart, leaking Tricuspid valve and pulmonary hypertension. I'm actually happy to finally have some answers because my health issues have been ongoing for a year now. I just want to be able to do the things I love. I'm seeing a cardiologist to see what this all means, create a game plan, and find out what, if any, restrictions I'll have moving forward.

4. I'm registering London for Kindergarten this week. I'm not sure how this is even possible but my little guy starts Kindergarten in the fall. I filed out all his paperwork today and will get in line Monday to get him in. I'm excited for him to start and hopefully he loves school as much as I do.

5. London starts dance this week! My little mover and shaker is taking a mini mix (essentially all dance styles) class on the weekends. He has a few friends from daycare that are in it so I know they're going to have so much fun. The best part is they have a recital, in the spring, which will probably be the cutest thing ever!

6. I was going to wrap this up but realized I haven't talked about running once. What kind of running blog would this be? ;)  I am waiting until I meet with my cardiologist to make any race plans for 2017. I only have SeaWheeze and the Chicago Marathon planned, so far, but both could be out at this point. I'm just hoping for the best until I hear otherwise! Running is such a big part of my life but not the only thing in my life. Everything happens for a reason and I'm just staying positive for now!

Happy Thursday!

Did you watch A Year In The Life? Thoughts on another season?
Next race on your schedule?
