London's 4th Birthday & Two Races

This weekend, London turned FOUR. I feel like I'm constantly saying I can't believe how fast he's growing up but it's true. In saying that, he's everything I could ask for in a son and more.

Dear London,

4 years ago, at 10:03, you made me a mom. It was something I had dreamed about for as long as I can remember.
I watched you smile at me for the first time, take your first shaky steps and heard you say your first word (mama.)
Then you became a toddler and a little boy. My little boy. Wow, time flies.
London, you bring me so much happiness.
You are sweet, sensitive, funny, independent and smart.
I love that you're happiest outdoors, that you love to run just as much as I do and that you are still willing to hold my hand in public and cuddle. I love that we share a love of hockey, colouring and popcorn.
I love the way your eyes light up when you do something new.
I love that you're a little hesitant at times but, with a gentle push, are willing to try almost anything when I tell you it's okay.
The bond we share is unlike anything else.
Happy 4th Birthday London!!!

Love Mommy

We celebrated Saturday but running a 5K Race together, it was London's first 5K, (Race Recap to come) a Ninja gymnastics party and then went to a hockey game.

Sunday, we slept in and then headed to the CIBC Run For The Cure where London and I raced the 1K (he finished FIRST) and then I had to emcee the post-run celebration.

We spent the afternoon playing toys, went for a bike ride, picked up groceries and then cuddled on the couch before bed.

It was a perfect weekend with my little boy!

How was your weekend? ❤️
