My Word for 2016

I've seen a lot of bloggers post about their word for the year. The word is supposed to be an intention for the year; it's suppose to help you stay on track with your goals and what you want to accomplish.

After reading Ange's post this morning I decided I would pick a word. The first word that popped into my mind is the one I'm going to use. It just feels right.

So, my word for 2016 is:

I have a lot of  Goals For 2016 and the key to achieving them is focus; focusing on what is important to me.

I'm often asked how I balance everything in my life (and now I get up so early to work out) and my answer is because I want to. I'm focused on my goals and working hard to accomplish them.

So, this year I hope to keep that same focus as I go for a sub 4 hour marathon (my big fitness goal this year) and continue to find balance in all other important areas of my life.

As I was searching the Internet, I found so many quotes using the word "focus" I love so I knew it was perfect!

I'm excited for 2016 and to FOCUS on what's really important to me!

What's your word for 2016?

  1. Focus is a great word. I like the word focus because it is different than tunnel vision: tunnel vision means you cannot see the rest of your world; you lose all perspective. Focus means that you still have the rest of the world in your peripheral vision. You can still take the rest of life into account. I like focus. Focus is great!
