It's no secret, I love to workout. Heck, I wake up at 4:30, most mornings, to fit it in.
Working out helps keep my Crohn's disease symptoms in check but it also makes me feel good about my heart health. With a family history of heart problems it's important I sweat once a day (even on rest days!)
Basically my schedule involves running on the treadmill, most mornings, and then usually a group class in the evenings (when London is with his daddy.)
One of my favourite classes is Body Pump at GoodLife Fitness (seriously, stop what you're doing and try this class. It's addicting! Thursday is New Release Day!!)
Anyway, throughout the month of February, GoodLife is teaming up with the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, in Toronto, to run a Healthy Heart Challenge on Facebook. Basically, it consists of a daily challenge, along with exercise tips, recipe ideas, suggestions for reducing stress and getting better sleep, and advice for preventing heart disease and stroke.
Follow GoodLife Fitness on Instagram and Facebook and more details about the challenge will be released soon as well as facts, stats, and exercise tips. You can also follow along with the hashtag #iheartexercise on all social media platforms.
