Thinking Out Loud #34

Once again, I'm linking up with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud. If you don't know how it works check out her first post. Basically, it's a chance for you to get all your random thoughts out and then link up with others doing the same.

1. Mizuno spoils me. I mentioned a few months ago that Mizuno sent me a giant box filled with goodies but I wanted to take some time to review them before I posted any more details. I've worn everything except the two hats.

It's hard to pick my favourite things but I love the coral jacket and the wave sayonara 3's. I've never run in anything but Wave Riders but Mizuno suggested I switch them out for my shorter runs. I'm glad I did because I get more mileage on my WR's plus the Sayonara's are lighter and make me feel like I'm FLYING!

Their sports bra is super comfortable and I haven't had any chaffing issues so far. My only complaint about some of their tanks is I wish they were longer (but that's just a personal preference!)

Thank you Mizuno! I love being an ambassador!!

2. Speaking of ambassador programs, I have an exciting announcement! I'm now an ambassador for Momentum Jewelry. The company is focused on motivating and inspiring through their jewelry. It's something I'm passionate about (and a big reason why I started this blog) so I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of! I hope to have discount codes/giveaways to share with you soon :)

3. I'm going to see Kelly and Michael! I was trying to grab a ticket to Jimmy Fallon, for when I'm in NYC, but they weren't up yet. Instead, I noticed Kelly and Michael had some available while I'm there!! I grabbed a ticket and can't keep stalking their guest list to see who I'm going to get to see!! Going to watch a tv show taping has been on my NYC bucket list for years. Yes, I know I work in television haha!!
4. I'm tackling 20 miles this weekend. Saturday, is my last long run before I start to taper for the NYC Marathon. 20 freakin' miles!!!! Sadly, my hip is still bugging me so we shall see how I feel during/after. I'm a little scared but excited to see how my body handles the challenge!
5. I'm so proud of my Team For Kids family. The 2015 Marathon runners raised over FOUR MILLION dollars!! That's enough to support over 200,000 children through NYRR free running programs, events and resources!  AGAIN, A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported my desire to run the NYC Marathon for a charity and my Team For Kids auction (which raised over 1200 dollars!!) I can't wait to run for the team in 24 days!!!!!!!!
6. London started soccer this week. It was another proud mommy moment as I watched him put on his jersey and strut out on the field. He basically just ran around for thirty minutes kicking the ball (no games until next week) but I was so proud of him!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
