Last weekend as a 31 year old

Well, that's one way to kick off your birthday. London and I both spent all night throwing up. Needless to say,  we will be spending the day in bed.

Since yesterday was a holiday, my weekend in review is coming a day later than usual.

First of all, thank you for all the love following my personal post yesterday. It can be tough to share my heart like that but it's therapeutic to write my feelings down and the thought it may help someone else is important to me.

Big hugs for you all!!!

Friday night, I decided to change into my sweats and crawl into bed at a ridiculously early hour. I ate junk food and watched Netflix. It was great!

Saturday, I was up early for my 12 mile long run. It was pouring rain so I decided to stick to the treadmill. Any double-digit treadmill run is tough for me but I watched Pitch Perfect 2 (again) and the time actually passed by pretty fast!

Then, I treated my self to a pedicure and spent some money at the mall on a few new fall outfits and two adorable pair of boots!

I came home and settled back in bed to watch Aloha (skip it) before getting a text from some girl friends they were going out. I decided to join them but didn't stay long since I'm not a big fan of the bar scene anymore. Plus, everyone seemed really drunk (I wasn't drinking) and I felt old haha! It did feel good to get dressed up though!

Sunday was spent with my foam roller. I have been having some hip pain lately so I added in lots of stretching too!

As always, Sunday night was family time. After pizza, Jarod and I took London skating.

He's getting to be quite the skater!!

Monday morning, London kept me company for my 6 mile run. We made sure to play lots of hockey and trains after.

Then, we headed to Starbucks for a warm drink and the mall for some new fall candles. We hit up a nearby picnic and London spent most of the time in the bouncy castles!

We spent the afternoon and early evening celebrating a friends' 4th birthday.

Today, I turn 32. I always think of birthdays as a time to be thankful for everything you have. Man, do I have a lot to be thankful for!! It's also a time to look ahead to an exciting future. I feel so lucky.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you had a great weekend!
