Training For The NYC Marathon- Weeks 5-7

68 days until RACE DAY!!! One of the girls posted this photo in our Team For Kids Facebook page yesterday and I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat!!

I decided not to post my training recap while I was on vacation and then my phone stopped working so I skipped another week. Despite the lack of posting I am on track with my NYC Marathon training plan!

I have run 160 miles since the program started last month. I have only missed two runs, after my PR at SeaWheeze. I've also stayed on track with my cross-training and have made it to one spin class and/or body pump class a week (except for the week I was on vacation.)

I post most of my workouts on Instagram but here are a few of my favourites from the past two weeks.

Coming up this week (Week 7)

Only 3 runs because I have another half marathon on Saturday.

Tuesday- 7 miles AYF (as you feel) & Body Pump
Wednesday- 10 miles PLR (pseudo long run)
Saturday- RACE DAY (LRPS Half Marathon)

What scares you the most about race day?
Do you always eat before you workout?
