Two Year Blogging Anniversary (A Thank You)

It's hard to believe I've been blogging for two years and how much has changed since then. This is my 375th post (whoa!)

On June 19th, 2013, I started a blog called "London's Mommy" as a keepsake for London, and myself, to record some of his milestones and write letters to him. About two months later, on August 25th, l posted something non-mommy related and realized that I like writing about my fitness goals and, more specifically, running.

On April 29th, 2014, I purchased my very own domain and "Kaella On The Run" was officially launched. I haven't looked back.

I wanted to take some time today to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to stop by and visit (whether it be here, FB, Instagram, or Twitter) leaves comments, emails or sends me texts messages. The friendships I have made through the Internet (something I used to think was bizarre) are now some of my strongest.

I am lucky to be surrounded by a supportive group of men, and women, that are always in my corner and continue to inspire me every single day.

This blog has been a place for me to share my victories, my failures and my hopes and dreams for the future. It's a place where I can be open and honest. It's a big piece of me.

Of course, outside of the blog I have a busy life (as do we all.) I work full-time, I'm a newly single-mom, I make time to live a healthy and active lifestyle, I have a household to manage, bills to find a way to pay and relationships that need my time and attention. I'm glad that I've been able to somehow find a balance that I'm happy with.

Some times I may not be here as much as I would like, or, I may not comment on each of your posts but please know that doesn't mean I don't care about you or about this blog.

I was hoping to do a big giveaway for my anniversary but didn't get around to organizing anything.

Instead, five readers will receive a little surprise from me soon!

To enter...just leave a comment below telling me something you're looking forward to!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

  1. I really enjoy reading about your running. I've been running for a year and your stories inspire me to keep going.

I'm looking forward to an upcoming trip to Vancouver. I'm thinking about taking running shoes and running the seawall!

  2. I am looking forward to a TON more We Run Social meet ups! congrats on two years! That is awesome!
