Training Tuesday- 32 days until the Calgary Half Marathon

It's time for my weekly training update.

Last week actually went really well. I managed to squeeze in two strength training workouts and two runs (one short and one long.) I'm trying to fit my workouts in on days London's with his dad.

I'm really excited for the Calgary Marathon as it is my goal race and I'm hoping to get a new PR but also because there's a big group of ladies getting together for a meet-up at the Expo and after the race. I'm hoping we'll have the details organized soon and then I'll be sure to post them here! 

Oh and, if you're doing Calgary this year, they're releasing the t-shirts and medals on Wednesday! I'll be in Calgary for the event and you should join me! Check out the Facebook event HERE and be sure to RSVP! 


Training Recap: April 20th-27th

Monday: 

60 minute Body Pump Class

Tuesday: (Double Workout Day)

4 mile Run 
60 minute Brandt's Beauty Booties Class (we also did some arm and core work)



Friday:

Second physio appointment. Mini workout to learn what I need to be working on.


Saturday:

11 Mile Long Run

  1. Nice work!! Good plan to fit your workouts in when London is with his dad.

    I don't usually have breakfast cereal. I have yogurt with fruit and granola.
