Dear London- 2.5 Years Old

London,

Hi buddy. Today, you turn 2.5 years old. It's hard to believe you've been in our lives for that long and yet I can't imagine a world without you in it.

You are smart, oh-so-funny, sweet, full of energy and kind. Of course, you're a typical toddler and go from happy-go-lucky to cranky-pants in a second but it's nothing that a big hug and time-out can't (usually) fix.

You would play hockey all day, every day, if we let you. You're always carrying around a stick and insist on wearing your gloves at all times. They come everywhere with us.

You love to eat and prefer healthy food, for the most part, but love to snack on popcorn and golden eggs (Kinder eggs) when we give them to you.

You have taken Daddy and my separation better than we could have ever imagined. You seamlessly went from having us all under one roof to having two homes. Although, I've only had one stretch without you we both have been okay and managed to get trough it.

I miss you so much when I'm not with you but that has always been the case. You are my whole world and you will always come first.

You daddy and I are a great team and have worked together to raise you into the little man you are today. I know we will continue to make your our top priority.

I love that you give me spontaneous hugs and kisses and tell me "I missed you today" and "I love you so much mommy." I love the way you cuddle up to me when we are close and you always ask to hold me hand. You are so sensitive and have such a big heart.

I love watching you grow bigger and stronger every day. I love when you learn new things and willingly show them off to mommy and daddy. You make me so proud to be your mommy.

London, I love you to the moon and back. I am so grateful to be your mommy.

Love always,
Mommy
