The Last Time- Weekend In Review

There were a lot of lasts this weekend. It was the last weekend in this house. The last weekend mommy, daddy and London were all under the same roof and the last time I could spend time with London without following a custody schedule.

It was a tough weekend but also really fun! Jarod and I soaked up every single second with our little boy. I would be lying if I didn't say I wondered, again, if we were making the right decision by separating. It's just a really tough situation. Like Jarod said though, we aren't right for each other. It's so tough when there's a child involved!

Anyway, Friday night we took London for a much-needed haircut and then to supper.

Then, to the finally home game for our local hockey team.

We ended up leaving after the first period and coming home to workout (and play!)

Saturday morning the boys headed swimming while I went for a run. They dropped me off about 3 miles from the pool and I ran to meet them. It was a gorgeous day and I ended up crushing my run!

We went to see a movie in this afternoon (Night At The Museum 3) and, of course, Londom fell asleep half way through. He managed to stay asleep so we could finish it and even napped for an hour at home too!

After nap time, London rode his bike to the park and we spent about an hour there.

We sold some of his baby toys and he insisted on giving them a proper farewell!

Sunday morning, we took London to the recycling depot. He had a blast helping load up the cardboard and insisted on naming what was on each box!

While he napped, I went for a nice 5 mile run.

He woke up from his nap calling for
Mommy and Daddy. When we laid in his bed, he said "I love you so much mommy and daddy." It was super sweet but also broke my heart.

IHe wanted to play hockey in the afternoon so that's what we did!

After a quick trip for groceries, and supper, we decided to go skating. He's gotten so good over the last few months!

Overall, it was a good weekend but a tough one! I have a feeling it's going to
get harder before it gets easier.

I hope you had a great weekend!!

  1. I think that you need to give yourself and Jarrod a little more credit! Yes things will change but it looks like the two of you really have a handle on this whole co-parenting thing. With every 'last', just remember there will be another first. Create lots of firsts! Happy ones :) xo

  2. Such a jam packed fun weekend! I can't imagine how tough it is for you but you guys are doing such a good job to make this easier for London. Hugs!!

  3. Busy weekend for you! It's so cute how much London loves hockey
