Ups and Downs- Weekend In Review

Let's rewind to Friday. I had to rush London to the hospital. His rash was everywhere and getting worse (literally) by the minute! These were taken 45 minutes apart!

Jarod met us there and we did our best to keep him (and ourselves) calm. Thankfully, we finally got some answers. It turns out he's allergic to Penicillin which he had been on to treat him double ear infection!

We stopped giving him that, and the steroids they had given him to originally treat the rash, and spent the day alternating between him sleeping and losing his mind! The Prednisone withdrawals are not fun!!

We were both asleep by 8:30!

Saturday, I met up with my Marathon Club for 9 miles. I had 12 on my training plan but I haven't been able to shake this cold that's been hanging around for 15 days! I haven't been running more than a mile a day lately. The 9 miles were extremely tough (and slow) for me! Thank god for my training partner Leighann or I would have quit!

London was feeling more like himself when I got home so we worked on crafts and played.

We also went to a movie and he fell asleep halfway through!

It was another early night!

Sunday morning London and I met up with a friend for a coffee and park date. The weather was perfect and we all had lots of fun!

London decided he was too cool for a nap so Jarod played hockey while I had some me time (including a run) and then we cleaned up the house.

We also got his Valentine's ready for daycare tomorrow and got some packages together to mail to family.

It was a good weekend and I'm so happy my little guy is feeling like himself again! Now, I just need to lose this cough!

How was your weekend?

    Great run too!
I thought about doing Valentine's for the dayhome kids but decided I'd wait till next year when Avery gets it a bit :(
