I can't believe the race is only 38 days away! I'm working my butt off to hopefully PR but I'm also excited for a mini vacation and to see (and meet) some of my favourite people! Not only is Jen and her husband going to be there but, I just found out today, Leana is coming too! Phoenix is going to be one big party! I wasn't sure if I was going to recap my training, or not, but I know I like reading training updates so I figured why not. As I mentioned earlier I'm following a NYRR training plan that was customized for me.
I'm currently doing a run streak so I am using my rest days (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) to complete, at least, 1 easy mile. I'm not doing as much strength training as I would like but I am trying to incorporate something on my easy run or rest days.
