15 Facts About Me

The lovely Rachel was kind enough to include me in her Winter Fit series. If you would like to check it out you can view the post HERE.

Now, on to today's post. And I apologize to Ange for posting this a month late!

Thank you to the lovely Ange for nominating me for a Liebster award.

I've done this before but wanted to participate again. What can I say? I'm a sucker for surveys!

1) What is your current health related goal

In 2015, I want to PR a half marathon and run a marathon

2) What is your biggest irrational fear

Someone breaking into my house

3) Do you enjoy wrapping presents?

I like wrapping presents but I'm not very good at it!

4) What’s you favourite cross training activity?

Now that I've tried it...Bodypump!

5) If I came to visit you, what would we do?

Hang around my house in comfy clothes, drinking wine, eating yummy good and chatting. We'd probably go for a run in the river valley at some point.

6) You have two weeks off work and two plane tickets to ANYWHERE. Where would you go and who would you bring?

I would go to New York and I'd bring my best friend Court.

7) What’s the most embarrassing thing to happen to you during a run or race?

Probably when my fuel belt busted open during my first half marathon and my water bottles and fuel flew everywhere! It was a crowded start so I felt bad for all the people behind me!

8) The three best days of your life? Or the top three that come to mind?

The day London was born
PR'ing the NYC Half Marathon
Swimming with dolphins in Florida in 2004

McDonalds Big Mac (no meat) meal with fries, mcchicken & sweet and sour sauce to dip and a rootbeer!

Yes, a few thanks to my job. My favourites are Taylor Swift and Brian Littrell from The Backstreet Boys (<My 13 year-old-self was dying on the inside!!)

11) Share a pic of yourself in non-workout clothes.

12) If you could choose to have a “do over” and switch careers, what would you do and why?

I LOVE my job; but, if I had to switch I would be an elementary school teacher. I love children and I love watching them learn and grow.

13) If you won an Olympic medal, how would you react?

I would be VERY excited! The chance to represent my country would be amazing but to win would be incredlble! There would be drinks and dancing involved!

14) What do you want for Christmas?

Whoops, I guess I should have done this sooner. I wanted a Garmin Forerunner 220 and I got it! It's now one of my favourite things!

15) What skill do you lack?

Cooking. I can handle the basics but I wish I was better and could just throw stuff together and make it taste amazing!

I'd love to hear your answers to numbers 2, 5 and 12!

  1. Love these!!

My irrational fear is of tall spindly staircases. It's kind of like a fear of heights but yet not because I'm fine on chair lifts, working on the 47th floor, being in an airplane etc. So weird!

My 'do over' job would probably be something creative like a makeup artist or photographer.

If you came to visit we would so something similar to what you would do! Nothing fancy but good wine, good food and good company!!
