Christmas in White Rock 2014

I know that I posted a little bit about our vacation to White Rock already but I wanted to include some details, and photos, from our final four days (including Christmas) in a post. I like to look back on these and remember what we did.

Be warned, there are LOTS of photos and a few videos!
The week started off with a Monday morning run along the beach. Running outside, by water, is seriously my happy place.

We then finished hanging Christmas lights on the trees outside my parent's house and decorated some gingerbread cookies.

I spent Monday night, down at the beach, with my girls. Melis, Sarah and I have been friends for a long time (since elementary school) and it's always great to see each other. Melis, of course, lives in Lethbridge now but I love when we are all together. Sadly, Carrie had to work late and couldn't make it.

Tuesday, we all decided to go skating. Cloe had never been and we all know how much London loves to be on ice. Both of them did amazing!

It was pouring rain when we got home but I bundled up and headed out for a quick 5K run. I had the beach, and pier, to myself. It was so beautiful!

Wednesday, Mom and I took the kids for a Starbucks date and I stopped in to H and M to check out their sales. I found London a cute pair of blue high tops for five bucks and a yellow NYC hoodie and picked up a pair of sweats and a sweater for myself. This time of year (and weather) makes me want to curl up, in front of the fireplace, in warm comfortable clothes!

While London napped, I headed out for a quick run.

Since it was Christmas Eve, I decided to get London and I dressed up. I managed to snap a few photos before we headed down for a mommy and son walk along the beach. It was a gorgeous afternoon.

We spent Christmas Eve, eating and chatting. I could hardly fall asleep I was so excited for London to see that Santa did come!

Christmas morning I was awake before everyone (story of my life!) The kids were awake after 7 and had so much fun discovering what Santa had left them! London got LOTS of hockey stuff, a train set and lots of clothes. Cloe was spoiled too with Monster High stuff, shop kins, clothes and a karaoke machine!

We all had fun singing "Let It Go" at the top of our lungs!

I enjoyed one last run along the beach while London napped and my mom made our Christmas supper.

Before I knew it, it was time to pack up our stuff and head to the airport. I gave London lots of cuddles that night as he was leaving with his dad the next morning.

Overall, it was an AMAZING vacation with my incredible family! I felt the most relax I have in ages. I can't wait to go back next summer and take London swimming, boating and crab fishing!
I hope you had a GREAT Christmas too!
