2014 & December Goals Review

Another month (and year) has come to an end and it's time to look back at how I did on my goals.

First, my goals for December:

1. Complete the December Run Streak:

Done!! Despite being on vacation, and having no access to a treadmill on some less than ideal running-weather days, I finished! I ran over 70 miles this month.

2. Donate to charity:

Done! I organized a collection at work and purchased gifts for two children, in need, for Christmas.

3. Unplug over the holidays:

I think I did a decent job! I took a blogging and reading-Twitter break and only used my phone to take (and share) photos and text with friends.

And, here's a look at my 2014 Goals and how I did:

1. PR at the NYC Half!
Done! 1:54:14

2. Unplug at Home
A work in progress. Still not where I would like it to be.

3. Spend more one on one time with Jarod
Unfortunately, as you know, we are now separated. I wish we would have put more effort into making time for each other.

4. Have more sex.

5. Get pregnant

6. Make time for friends
Yes! I have an awesome group of friends that have been there through so much with me this year! I don't know what I would do without them! I also met a group of fabulous blogger friends (that's you) that I feel so blessed to have connected with! Besides about six weeks, after our separation, I think I did a great job of making time for those who are important to me!

7. Spend more time with mom
I have a lot of regrets about not spending enough one-on-one time with my mom while she lived here. Unfortunately, there were some things happening, beyond my control, that made that not possible.

8. Spend less money. Avoid online shopping
I am going to consider this a win! I spent way less money than I did when I was on maternity leave!

Overall, 2014 had its fair share of ups and downs but I'm ready to move into a new year with new goals and dreams!

More details on what I have planned for 2015 coming tomorrow!!
