1st Day of Vacation

Although we didn't land in White Rock until last night my vacation officially started Wednesday. I had some vacation days to use, by the end of the year, and decided to take a day off before my trip.

I wish I could say I slept in, or went for a long run, but neither happened. I ran a quick mile and then spent the whole morning doing laundry, packing and cleaning our house for two weekend showings.  Hey, at least it's my last treadmill run for awhile! I picked up London, early, from daycare and spent two hours with him before heading out.

I joined Melis, her boyfriend Ian, and three others for supper before heading to the Cirque Du Soleil show and meeting up with Tawnya, Danielle, Nicole and June. The show was amazing and the company was pretty awesome too :)

Yesterday morning, London and I said goodbye to Jarod and headed to Calgary.

After a quick stop at the passport office (I'm officially ready for Phoenix now!) we headed to my dad and my Stepmom's house for a quick visit.

We stayed about an hour before going to park our car and catch the shuttle bus to the airport. London was pumped to be on a bus and entertained the other passengers with several rounds of "Wheels In The Bus!"

Our flight was delayed almost an hour but London loved watching the planes!

We landed about 5 o'clock.

We both were really excited to finally get to White Rock and have Nana and Grandpa, my brother and my niece, Cloe, waiting for us!!

We spent the rest of the night catching up and the kids got to open one gift.

I have been missing my family, so much, lately! I'm happy to be home!!

Have a great weekend!
