What I'm Thankful For- Weekend In Review

I've been so blessed lately with love and support and there's no better time of year than to reflect on what I have to be thankful for. I've been doing that a lot lately.

I had an amazing weekend.

It started off with drinks with some of my girls, and my boss, Friday.

Saturday morning I soaked up as much time with London as I could. He would be spending the long weekend with his dad, and Grandparents, and I was invited to stay at a friend's house.

Saturday night was pretty low-key. We chatted, ate a delicious supper (which I didn't have to make yay!) and lazed around. We attempted to watch Wolf Of Wall Street but only made it about half an hour.

Sunday morning I headed out for a long run. I have only ran twice since my last half marathon, almost a month ago, and never over 5K and was craving something longer. I set out with no route in mind and ended up doing a nice, scenic eight miles.

I apparently forgot to take any photos the rest of the day but it was filled with lots of food, wine and laughs. We ended up having bbq salmon for supper and, as a west coast girl, I loved it! We all stayed up way too late swapping stories and smartass comments, drinking and watching old movies. Boy, was it fun!

I'm so thankful to Melis and Ian for offering to host me this weekend. They really are the best!

I was up at 6:30 and laid in bed for a couple hours. It was amazing! I finally dragged my butt out of bed and got ready to meet friends for a "Friendsgiving" brunch. Gosh, these girls make me laugh! Thank you June for the mimosa idea and Tawnya for saying yes to another round ;)

I finally was reunited with my little boy after his nap around 2 o'clock. I scooped him up and we headed out for some mommy/son time. I missed him!

It was a perfect weekend (A++) :)

I have a lot to be thankful for. I have an incredible group of friends, the best family, good health, a job I love, YOU for checking out my little corner of the Internet and leaving the sweetest comments and a son who I love more than I ever thought was possible.

Happy Thanksgiving!
