Active Living Challenge Week 1 Recap

I'm taking part in the Lorna Jane Active Living Challenge this month. It's simple, just follow @lornajaneactive and @firapproach on Instagram or twitter and post a photo each day. 

Although I'm taking at least a week off from running, because of my knee, this challenge is reminding me of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. There's more to my life than just running. It's important to fuel with (mostly) healthy foods and to find a way to get active daily (even if that active is chasing after my son along the beach while on vacation!)
