Half Marathon Training Update Week 6

6 weeks down and 7 weeks until race weekend!

I had 21 miles on the schedule this week. 


Here's what I actually did:

Monday: Off
Tuesday: 5 miles 


Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 6.22 miles and a 20 minute kettle bell routine


Friday: Off
Saturday: 9 miles 


Sunday: 4 miles 


Actual mileage: 24.2 miles


Weekend highlights:

Saturday, London and I had a blast at our friend Bella's 2nd birthday party and then took in a baseball game with some friends and co-workers.


Sunday my little man and I had a park date before spending the afternoon in the backyard. We set up the baby pool, water table and the sprinklers and tried to keep cool. It was a gorgeous day!




My legs are quite sore today so I'm excited for rest day tomorrow. 



My boss is away the next two weeks so I'm in charge of the team. It's going to be busy!

  1. Another great training week! Mine was going great until I ran into some IT band pain. Very frustrating but hopefully I can get it all worked out quickly!
