Things I'm Loving IV

I buy London a lot of clothes. The kid grows like a weed and he gets messy. We have a lot of outfit changes each day. For both those reasons, I don't like to spend a lot of money my husband doesn't like when I spend a lot of money.  I DO like to dress him in stylish clothes though. In Lethbridge, that can be hard to find! ;)

Through instagram, I've found some awesome "little" and unique shops. My favourites:

My favourite hoodie

SLOUCH (they have adult products too)

GIGI & MAX (if I had/have a girl I'll be shopping here! Check out these handbands!!)

I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I LOVE this app! I still record all my runs in my agenda (yes, I'm old school and still have a paper agenda) but this allows me to connect with other runners and "compete." It motivates me to get out there, or run a little longer, to move up the ladder. Last night, I finished a 5K and noticed my boss had run 6, so I got back on the treadmill and ran an extra kilometer. It was already feeling like one of those tough runs, but it felt great to get it done! Anyone else use this app?

I LOVE that London knows my routine and always beats me to the foam roller when the treadmill stops!

My mom received a HUGE bouquet for her 60th and surprised me by leaving half of them behind at our place. I love having fresh flowers on the counter. They made the whole house smell so nice! Thanks mom!!

We go through a LOT of fresh fruit and veggies and the farmers market offers great options (and decent prices!) It opened last Saturday with limited booths. I didn't pick up any fruit or veggies but I did splurge on some delicious Almond Butter and a mini pie. It'll definitely be part of our Saturday routine.

I'd like to blame thank COURT for sharing these candies on her blog last week. We share a love of candy and consider ourselves somewhat candy connoisseurs. When we lived together our Friday nights consisted of picking up a few dollars worth of 5 cent candies, some Whiskey and some chick flicks.

I picked them up last night and almost ate the whole package. They're amazing!

Have a GREAT weekend! We have planned on going to the Calgary Zoo but may cancel as it's suppose to POUR!

  1. Might have to check out those kids clothes for the future :) Different stuff is hard to find! (different being not covered in dump trucks, etc). I agree, I love fresh flowers too! Hope you have a great long weekend

    1. Yes, I agree! Dump trucks etc are cute...but it's nice to have other options! Have a great weekend :)
