So I started a blog....

I have thought about doing this for awhile. I figured it would be a great chance to record special memories with London and share them with family and friends. I use Facebook and Instagram quite a bit, but this may be easier (and a better keepsake!)

I wanted to share with you something I wrote for London a few months ago when he turned six months old:

I say this every month but I can't believe it has been 6 months since you we're born! I can't imagine my life without you. You and I spend almost every hour of the day (and night) together. We have yet to move you into your crib (my choice) and you have been spending the nights sleeping cuddled up to me.

You are a pretty happy baby! You only get upset when you are tired, hungry or want to be held or change activities. You do get frustrated easily and are often grunting at your toys or whatever else you can get your hands on! You babble a lot and giggle when tickled under your chin and arms or when daddy plays peek a boo with you.

You are getting so big. Last week you were 17 pounds 9 oz and 27.5 inches. You are still breastfeeding (I met my 6 month goal!!) but we supplement with 2 oz after each feed and you get 4 oz before bed. We also introduced you to solids a month ago and you have had banana, avocado, rice cereal, carrots, sweet potato and mum mum cookies! You love banana and also love sucking on mommy's apples and cucumber! I hope you love healthy food like mommy! I also hope you run beside me someday. Right now we take logs of runs together with you in your carseat in my BOB stroller. You usually fall asleep but you are an awesome running partner! Last month we even completed 10K together!!

You made it through the 4 month sleep regression finally! You go to bed between 8 and 830 and are up between 12 and 3 and again around 5-6. We are usually up for the day around 7-8. Mommy tries to go to bed when you do so she isn't too tired!

I love you so much big boy! Your smile warms my heart and I love hanging out with you. I can't wait to create many more memories together with daddy.

Love Mommy
