Baby Food

Before I dive into today's post, I want to follow up on yesterday's. Apparently, London decided to prove me wrong and last night he slept in his crib from 8 to 1!!! He didn't even cry when he woke up at 1. He was just playing and crawling around, so I scooped him up and feed him and brought him to bed with me. Good job London!! I am hoping for a repeat tonight!

Back to today's topic now... Food!

London is still breastfeeding but has also been eating solids since he was five months old. We fed him purées for the first month (avocado, banana, sweet potato, butternut squash and carrots) but he began to show interest in feeding himself so we switched to mostly baby led weaning. Basically what we eat, London eats.

He has tried almost every fruit and vegetable but really loves bananas, avocados and carrots. Yesterday, I gave him a piece of leftover pizza and he ate half of it! He's also had salmon, tuna, chicken, turkey, yogurt and eggs!

He also loves to snack and usually has one or two of these everyday: Gerber puffs/cheezies, Cheerios, apples or mum mums.

London eats three meals a day and we eat them at the table together (starting good habits early!)

Feeding him solids is so much fun! I love to watch him try new foods.
